The Tyneside / Newcastle Upon Tyne Geordie accent, and the Northumberland / Northumbrian dialect / accent are some of the most difficult to portray authentically – (ask anyone from up here who has ever watched Vera ;-).
+ Being a dialect rather than an accent, they are almost impossible for a “non lurcaal” to authentically voice from a script; unless it has been written “phonetically”, and, written by a native speaker.
